I scored 91% on 3/23/04 History: Passed SCJP w/ 88% on 1/23/04. Read HFEJB text 3 times over next 1.5 months(never looked at the ejb spec...HFEJB is a GREAT book). Used ejbcertificate.com's study questions plus soft learn's "softSCBCD" for practice over a two week period. I have never coded EJB on a commercial project before. Now onto the SCWCD exam...I plan to take it on 5/23/04...don't wan't break the streak Good luck to all.
Hey Mitul..Congratulations..!! On average how much time did you spent for the preparation each day? I have just started the preparation... Any suggestions?
Hi Mitul, Congrats on a great score. Sounds like you and I are on the same schedule. I passed SCJP on 1/12, SCBCD yesterday and plan on taking the SCWCD on 4/26. Good luck on the SCWCD. -Van
Thanks,

Thanks Sekhar. I actually did 2-3 hrs per day the first 2-3 weeks. Covered the entire HFEJB text in the first 3 weeks. Then I did another re-read over the same time period. The HFEJB book has a lot of diagrams so the reading is easy and fast the second go round. You can almost look at the pictures and know what the authors main point was. I definately advocate getting softSCBCD for practice...its well worth the $15 price tag. Good Luck on your studies!

Rushabh, That sounds like a good plan. I don't know much about the IBM-OOD-UML exam, but acquiring a solid understanding of OOA would be a good start. I feel that as long as you can see the big picture in terms of how the various technologies(JSP, Servlets, EJB) relate, and the problems they were designed to address, you can take them in any order you wish. Each one can be studied independent from the others. I've decided to do scwcd next followed by a thorough examination of the core J2EE design patterns text by Sun, and someday the scea exams. Good Luck, Mitul

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
