java2 1.4(scjcp) exam

i have a question here.

while taking an exam of java 2 1.4(scjcp), before the exam starts a survey is taken by sun abt the rating of the topics.

does the questions depends on the ratings asked?

i do not undestand? anyone who has taken an exam of java2 1.4, please reply me.

No. This survey is general survey. Questions are not depend on this survey. We need not worry abt this survey.

Do not waste time on the survey, complete it as fast as possible filling in any answers you want.

Ask a Meaningful Question and HowToAskQuestionsOnJavaRanch
Getting someone to think and try something out is much more useful than just telling them the answer.

Well, I do not agree with you, Sree. Basing on my experience (and I did some experiments with my SCWCD and SCBCD surveys) I can say that
1. The ORDER of questions you get DEPENDS on your answers. If you say that you do not know, say, EL, security and patterns well, you'll get the 'most difficult' questions first.
2. The NUMBER of questions PROBABLY depends on your answers, but im not sure.

I had filled out "Expert" in all categories, except Threads where
I chose "Intermediate". I think that I got a high proportion of
Thread-related questions.

(Ironically though, I got all of them right, but got 5 wrong in
other categories. :roll: )

Is the time in the for teh survey included into the Exam, please clarify

The time for completing the survey is not included in the time of the exam. you get extra 15mts for filling the survey. Only after completing the survey you can start the exam with two full hours.
