Although I have passed it I am skeptical about the Q I got. meaning they were quiet easy as compared to the mocks & those in books. I would be very thankful if anyone seeing this message clears my doubt! the doubt is that : before the exam u r to take a survey which ask u how comfortable u r with the different exam topics. it has five options: expert(something like this, don't remember exact for now) intermediate novice & some other two! I chose novice/beginner for most of the topics! & then the Q's I got were pretty simple!(i got 57 out of 61) is this that I gave an exam tailored for a novice/beginner & would this reflect on my certificate(novice/beginner) or I gave the same 310-035 what others have given!

I dont think the options affect the level of difficulty in the test . Come think about it, if this really matters, then who will choose advanced level? In order to avoid the doubts, in SCBCD, the survey comes at the end of the exam, which make sure you wont think in such way.

No. The certificate does not reflect the options in the survey. Anyway, congrad! Nick

hi zephyr, comparre the real exam to self test question in every chap from kathy, bert, which one is hard ? because for example inner class can be more quite complex rather than innerclass selft test itself.(question in selft test does not cover all of the possibility of the concept). thanks

thank u nicholas & benny for the clarifications. I feel very much relived now BTW I did study for the exam from kathy & bert's book... but was totally taken aback as I progressed through the exam finding easy to locate compilation errors.... I really didn't expected to score that high. last time i got 90+ in an exam was in my 10th std(1994). in history & geography subject.... thanks once again

Score is not important indeed. Pass is the most important issue!! Nick
