After much procrastination and preparation I am pleased to announce that I've passed the SCJP 1.4 with a 93%. The questions seemed intentionally tricky and were challenging. The prepatory materials I used were :

Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates
Marcus Greens' practice exams.
Dan Chisolms exam simulator.
JavaRanch

My advice to anyone taking this test is to make sure you know threads inside and out.

Thanks
Chris

Well, I'm thinking that next I'd like to attain the SCWCD and SCBCD. I've aleady worked with all the related technologies for a couple years. More of my experience is with servlets and jsp but my interest is in the ejb area. Does anyone have an opinion on which one of these two tests is more challenging SCWCD or SCBCD?
