I started learning 2 months ago. I didn't have any knownledge aboud web developing. So I think SCWCD Exam Kit is the best for beginner. I read more about EL and SimpleTag in Tutorial and Spec. There are many hard questions about patterns, I only get 50% in this part. You should learn much as you can. Some patterns isn't in the objectives There were some question about JNDI configuration, ejb-local-ref, resource-ref,.. I use JWebPlus v4.0. The exam is as difficult as the VT test of JWebPlus.
