Hey all,

I scored 95% on the exam - SCWCD 1.4 and wanted to share my happiness with you.

The following are the things that I did to get this score:

1. Studied the Head first JSP and Servlets thoroughly.
2. Brushed through Jignesh's book (since I already had that at home before I bought the head first).
3. Went over the specs for JSP, JSTL
4. Went over the api for Servlet related classes and interfaces.
5. Took the Whizlabs practice exams.

It took me 2 weeks to do all this. Good luck to those who are yet to take the exam.

The whizlab exams were very useful. It helped me think in new ways and also made me realize the mistakes I was making. It was of the same standard as the real exam. The questions on the real exam were pretty much similar to the ones in the whizlab exams. They were on the same lines.

Also, the Head First book helped me quite a bit. The new way of learning (with diagrams etc) was more useful than I thought. When I would be a little lost in the exam, I would think hard to find any associated picture or comment that the authors made around the subject (that I was trying to get the answer from). It helped me quite a bit. I was having kind of memory bulbs glowing and found that the pictures really helped me recollect stuff faster.
