Hi,

I passed my SCJP on 2nd attempt but failed on first attempt.

My question is that if i provide my Candidate ID to someone and they want to check my certification, will my result show that i took it twice?

Please let me know if anyone has experience with it.

thanks

Hi,

Instead of giving them your Prometric ID, you can use Sun Certification I7 database to publish/validate your certification status. It has a feature "Pubilsh Certification" and it will not disclose the score. You can try out that feature by using your own email address.

If you've further doubt, you can also send an email to SunCert@prometric.com for help and clarification.

In addition, I guess your display name is against the naming policy of JavaRanch... You can have a look at the policy here.
