I read only the book written by them nothing else. Also my friend read the same book and got 83%. Hi Priya,
I studied the following book.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0072226846/qid=1102707516/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/103-6652998-6150268

Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035 & 310-027)
by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates

Its a very good book for the certification exam, trust me.
Good luck for you exam.

I am also preparing from Bert Bates and Cathys book....
I have a development experiance in Java (Guys trust me having development exp and preparing 4 SCJP are two diff things... So dont take nething for granted) and developers like me finds reading books on basics of java a bit boring... I must say that, this is not the case with this book... The writing style adopted is cooool (funny and talkative mode)and keeps u hooked to the book.

Good work by Cathy and Bert.

Regards,

Manny
