I just passed my SCJD with a total of 365.

Section Summary:
General Con: 100 85
Documentation: 70 57
OOD: 30 30
GUI: 40 33
Locking: 80 80
Data Store: 40 40
Network Server: 40 40
Total: 400 365

I just wanted to let everyone know that I made a big mistake waiting for the project upload results to come before I could took the essay exam (2 months). So..., DONT WAIT FOR YOUR UPLOADED PROJECT RESULTS. JUST GO AHEAD AND TAKE YOUR ESSAY EXAM SOON AFTER IT. SUN WONT EVALUATE YOUR PROJECT UNTIL SUN RECEIVES ESSAY EXAM. I did not know/read about it anywhere, on sun or javaranch or anywhere else.

After this long wait, I guess I am "happy" with 365, may be not if it had come out earlier.

Congratulations Sandy

We have mentioned in the JavaRanch SCJD FAQ that you must take the essay exam before your assignment will be looked at:

Sun says it takes 4-6 weeks to grade my assignment, it has been over 6 weeks. What should I do?

For a start - did you take the essay exam after uploading the assignment? Your assignment will not be looked at until after you have completed the part II essay exam.

Perhaps we need to make it a bit more obvious - any suggestions greatfully accepted (or, since the FAQ is on a Wiki, feel free to add a FAQ yourself to cover this specific topic ).

Regards, Andrew
