passed SCBCD (87%) with three weeks of prep work from Head First EJB. I should say---the book slowed down my prep and exam scehdule by atleast a couple of days. While much adew has been payed to the excessive cartoon work in this book, I fail to understand why a topic like EJB (which is for ppl with considerable experience in JAVA techs) needs such a kindergarden like learning experience. My prep for SCWCD was quick and more apt using the "SCWCD Exam Study Kit: Java Web Component Developer Certification by Hanumant Deshmukh, Jignesh Malavia" The same publishers are coming up with a book for SCBCD prep in March. Maybe its something to look out for and feel like grownups for once!
