Whew, Finally!!!

I have passed SCJP 1.4 with 90%. Am happy with the result, though I think I could have done better justice to Garbage collection

A BIGGGGGGGGGGG thanks to Kathy and Bert for their wonderful book.
I am actually new to this bbs. I have had contacts with Java for about 3 years now, but had to let go of it when I started programming on Windows with VC++, COM. Its good to be back, yeah.....
Thanks to all the good people on this forum who helped me with my doubts, not to mention javaranch as a whole.

Heres the Section Analysis for my test:

**********************************************************
Declarations and Access Control - 100%
Flow Control, Assertions and Exception Handling - 88%
Garbage Collection - 66%
Language Fundamentals - 100%
Operators and Assignments - 100%
Overloading, Overriding, Runtime Type and Object Orientation - 83%
Threads - 75%
Fundamental Classes in the java.lang package - 83%
The Collections Framework - 100%
**********************************************************

My method of preparation has been mostly trial and error. After a break of about 1 year, when I recently started preparing for SCJP, I started by coding a lot. Nothing beats actual coding. After I was pretty satisfied with my code, I bought Kathy and Bert's book and boy, it was amazing. I can assure you that this is one book which is worth its price. I also took lots of Mock exams that have been mentioned on Levteck and Javaranch.

But, at the end, nothing beats perseverence. Keep at it until you get it right.
I remember this quote when I think of the exam I took:
Something is difficult doesn't mean you shouldn't try, it only means you should try harder.

Thanks.

I would want to go for SCWCD and SCBCD. Yet to decide on which to take up first. I am not averse to taking up SCJD. I actually like the challenge it poses. But I dont know the importance given to SCJD in the market.

Actually, I could definitely use some help on this.
Any ideas, guys?
Do you have any idea what the market for SCJD is like right now?
And which would be better market-wise? SCWCD or SCBCD?

Thanks in Advance.
