not at all. make sure the testing environment is absolutely peaceful. select the testing center carefully. if u have praticed enough, 100% shouldn't be too ambitious.

does a 100% score in SCJP, SCWCD or any other sun certification help you score addnl points in an interview. I thought its only the certification that counts. Please correct me if I am wrong..
Thanks,

No, the actual score is irrelevant unless you explicitly put it on your CV (it's not printed on your certificate or on any official paperwork except the exam results sheet you get from the exam center).
Personally I'd consider anyone putting a high score on their CV to likely be braggers, which would possibly work against them in an interview (if they'd even get one).

Of course if the question does come up during an interview what your actual score was and you can truthfully say it was 100% it might well work in your favour.

hii

i think Jeroen Wenting is saying right ...
if we write 100% in our cv and if an interview by chance we got stuck in any java question.... it will make our image down...... even if the question is not from scjp objectives..and we can't say to intervier that " the question u asked is not from scjp objectives"

so scjp is only a certificate that u know java...

but some times i think as i don't have much % in my accademic record so can i put the java % ( if i score good) to influence that i m not dump ???

any comments.....

Surprised to hear that. If you have achieved that and mention it in you Resume how does that qualify for bragging.
If that is bragging then anything you put under the head "Achievements" will be bragging.

No one can ever answer all the java questions. So 100% does not mean one is trying to say that one knows everything about Java.
It is just a way of saying that you took a job(certification) and finished it with as much accuracy as possible.
