the questions i thought on most was thread questions. and i did one of them incorrect.

K&B book and the tips in http://jminds.hollosite.con/ are really more than enough for this exam.

regards.

hi,

especially i have a C background. I have been working with Java since last June.

Kathy and Bert book is really wonderful for all targeting this exam. However in some points, i could not get the whole point from that book, but the link i have given above(com instead of con ) really did clarify all that points.

The mock exams around really confuse the minds of people who study for the exam. Most of the questions in those are irrelevant. The exam that comes with the K&B book resembles the cert exam i have taken. Dan's questions are helpful in order to understand the concepts more powerfully but you dont actually need to answer such tough questions.

Exam is really easy. you should be some careful. The toughest questions was from the threads topic.

3-4 questions about short-circuit boolean operators.
2-3 questions about inner classes. (very simple just know that who can have static members who cannot)
simple questions about encapsulation, thread methods, is-a relationship...

regards.

K&B book + its exam
the shortest preparation i can say. but readin the book may take some time if you are not very comfortable with java.
