This week's book giveaway is in the General Computing forum. We're giving away four copies of Arduino in Action and have Martin Evans, Joshua Noble, and Jordan Hochenbaum on-line! See this thread for details.
First I followed the Khalid&R book. The Objectives and concepts are well explained in this book. I got Katy&B book a week before the exam. Read thoroughly on "exam watch" and work-out the questions on back of every chapter. The real exam questions resembled Katy&B's. I tried few mock exams as recommended in this forum by fellow ranchers.
Although am not actively involved in this forum, I should thankful to ever ranchers who are continuingly answering for the questions in this forum. "Javaranch" gave me moral & mental strength and confidence to take this exam. Am not experienced programmer, working as Baggage Helper in the airport. WoW, now am officially certified Java Programmer.
Ranchers, do you have any suggestion what I should do further to get better job?
Also I have read the K&B twice, done the self test questions twice, Now I am doing the practive test... What else do you recomend I have also done the mock questions from javaranch...Cattle one.
