Today I passed SCDJWS with a score of 76%. I found it not so hard. I lost most points on XML Web Services Standards (60%), General Design and Architecture (50%) and Endpoint Design and Architecture (60%). I hardly studied this items.

I got a few difficult questions about XML schema and Stubs, Dynamic Proxies and DII. The security questions were easy. No detailed information about security has been asked. Therefore the securiry book (see below) is not necessary. MZ notes are more than sufficient.

I learned for about 6 weeks (1-2 hour a day). My study material were:

- J2EE Web Services
- Securing Web Services with WS-Security
- Blueprints
- MZ notes

I would like to thank everybody in this forum.

Amit,

I had almost no experience in webservices. I had used SAX and DOM only once. I had some industry experience with Digital Signature.

If you are an experienced java developer with knowledge of servlets and ejb's you could study SCDJWS in two months. I did it in about 5-6 weeks (1-2 hours a day).
