I have just received my results for the SCJD assignment; I submitted the exam and did the essay only last weekend so I was surprised to get the results in little over a week.
My results were:
This report shows the total 1.4 SCJD points that could have been awarded in each section and the actual number of points you were awarded. This is provided to give you per-section feedback on your strengths. The maximum possible score is 400; the minimum to pass is 320. General Considerations (maximum = 100): 88 Documentation (maximum = 70): 69 O-O Design (maximum = 30): 25 GUI (maximum = 40): 26 Locking (maximum = 80): 80 Data store (maximum = 40): 40 Network server (maximum = 40): 40
My total was 368/400 which is 92%.
I am very happy with these results, I am a little curious as to the reasons why I scored low on the GUI and also the odd marks I lost for the Documentation, General Considerations and O-O Design, as I never would have thought I would have lost marks there.
But anyway at least I passed, and I didn't have to wait very long so thats the good thing.
I would like to thank everyone in the SCJD forum for your help, without it, the assignment would have taken considerably longer and I may even have not interpreted the instruction correctly! (Initially I wasn't planning to provide a means to allow the user of the server or client to choose a database).
Thank you all very much, it was really appreciated!
Best regards and good luck to you all with your assignments.
Congrats James Turner !! You scored very good marks in the developer exam which i think is the most nighmarish of all the java certification exams and where your Java knowledge and its application matters. Can you suggest me some good books that you think good for this exam or that you studies for this exam ?
Thanks and Congrats !!
