They say that any test you pass is one you can list, but... ugh.
I bought a voucher for the 310-082 during the sale in June, and just put off until now taking it, since I already had my 310-080 and wasn't in a hurry, save to show that I'm keeping up to date. Makes me wonder, though, how 'up to date' I really am...
But first, the verdict.
Now, the good news is what I do at work, I know well. The bad news is the test was just plain ugly, and I got hit with a lot of things I either didn't know or second-guessed myself out of right answers. (I can already think of three or four Standard Action questions that the latter is true for.)
Ah well, anything you can say you passed, right?

Does that mean it was hard, or was it bad in some way?
That it was very hard, rather than 'bad'. I guess I'm used to the full exam where there's questions in fields that I certainly know - the easier parts that are not 1.4 specific - rather than just the harder concentrations of the items that are more recent. Something that would keep my confidence up during the exam, really.
Didn't mean to make it sound like I thought something was 'wrong' with the upgrade exam. (And, it definitely made me make sure that I'm studying differently for the SCJP upgrade I'm doing in a few weeks.)
