Hello All,
I passed SCJP with 93%. Here are few things from my side

1. SCJP isn't hard but you need to do your side of homework.
2.I read K&B. It's simply an awesome book. Do all the questions at the end of the chapters. Trust me if you are comfortable with those questions, exam will be a cake walk.
3.Concentrate on the mock exams too. Don't be under the impression that if you read the whole book a couple of times ... you will get good score. Do as many mock exams you can.
4.Don't be too worried about the score you get in the mock exams. I personally feel that you cannot put 100% of your concentration in the mock exams as you will do in the final exam.
5. I did K&B's comprehensive exam, 2 of Marcus Green's , Voodo exam.

If you have any particular doubts regarding preparation, feel free to post it with your email address. I will do my best in replying. I am planning to start reading for SCWCD. I would really appreciate any suggestions in this regard.

I would recommend you to go through all the posts that users have put in the results section. No one is perfect ... you will definitely learn something new from each post. Don't go on the Scores ---

Hello JAVA CERTIFIED,

CoNgRaTz on your passing the SCJP with a greate score.
You bet that HF is the best...
I was just posting my SCWCD result and found out you posted around the same time.....
I recommend getting that Head First Servlets/JSP right away and dive into it, Head First (adopted from the commment by Scott McNeally in HFS/J)

Hello Esam,
I am in a dilemma whether to prepare for SCWCD or SCBCD. Can you suggest something on this? Is it good to wait for ejb 3.0?

Hi Java Certified,

I believe I read in a thread that said (Bert Bates), it might take a long, long time for a upgraded version of SCBCD to come out.

Since you have done some work...on both these areas...
I would personally recommend taking the SCWCD first...then SCBCD...

Don't be in a dilemma!!!

You can take SCWCD first then SCBCD...
