After months struggled with tons of materials, finally settled it today. Mostly multianswer questions, , around 5 drag-and-drop questions. 5 questions on XML stuffs. More than 10 questions on architecture and design patterns. Security around 6-7 questions, fundamental concepts. Alot of questions on SOAP. WSDL and UDDI covers around 15 questions. The rest is Java API related. Study Materials: WS-I BP 1.0, SOAP, WSDL specifications. Java Web Services book. Blue Print. XML Knowledge, especially on schema and namespace. For Security, read up some materials on HTTP Basic, and other related technology. Details might not be necessary. Previous certification with SCWCD sure helps. Good luck to all who going to take this paper, it's a paper with wide coverage of topics. [ November 08, 2005: Message edited by: Eddy Lee Sin Ti ]

Congratulations! Did you use any mock exams? What did you read to cover Security? Thanks, Prasad

Java Web Services Architecture book, by James McGovern and etc, from Morgan Kaufmann Publisher. Oops, i forgot to add in the RMH book. For Security part, i studied: 1. HTTP Basic authentication/SSL - From Servlet specification (When i prepared for SCWCD last time) 2. SAML/XACML/XML Encryption/XML Signature/XKMS/WS-Security/Liberty - Nothing advanced being asked for the topics above. Usually only covers the purpose of each standard and their basic principles. Example like asking you which one of them is used for single sign-on. Basic stuffs, but as usual, no harm to understand and study more on them. I didn't have the chance to do any mock exams, because can't find any free and useful mock exams. [ November 08, 2005: Message edited by: Eddy Lee Sin Ti ]

Hi, How many questions did you get on "Deployment of Web services"? I mean, deployment descriptor questions. And also, how complex they are? I am finding very difficult to remeber the stuff in web.xml / webservices.xml / mapping.xml and wsdl.xml. Please reply. Thanks, Prasad
