Passed SCWCD with 72% and a Question

Passed with 72% Used HF, Read Specs and browsed the forums on Javaranch.

What is the purpose of the "Servey" before the test? Asked Questions if you thought you were an "EXPERT", "INTERMEDAITE" or "NOVICE" on diffrent subjects of the Exam. I was afraid to say "NOVICE" on all. Afraid it wouldn't let me take the test.

I said "INTERMEDIATE" to all.

That's pretty funny. When I took my SCJP, I was afraid to answer EXPERT because I wondered how it would look if I failed so I answered INTERMEDIATE as well.

Sun uses that survey to help them figure out whether the tests are too easy or too hard. The way you answer has no impact on the questions you end up getting.

Spot false dilemmas now, ask me how!

exactly i was also afraid while giving the answer of survey.
i was also thinking in same way , if i say expert
than sun 's simulator will give tuff questions.
anyway by seeing bert reply , now i can rely it was just survey

Yeah, I didn't think that it would affect the type of questions that I got. I just thought that it would made me look stupid if I thought I was at the EXPERT level and then failed.
