Hi all,

I passed SCWCD with 97% this afternoon. I am very lucky to get this score because I had doubt on some questions and probably guessed them right.

I want to thank Bryan, Kathy and Bert for writing HFSJ that is an excellent text.

Two questions are on dynamic attributes of custom tag; if you read the dynamic attributes tutorial posted by Bryan, you will not perceive them as difficult.

I also want to thank Mikalai Zaikin and Frederic Esnault for sharing their study notes to fellow ranchers preparing for SCWCD.

The questions on Whizlab, jdicuss and jiris.com are very good; the mock exams help me identify exam objectives that I need to work on and the explainations they give are well written and clear.

Core J2EE Patterns is a good complementary reference to the Design Pattern chapter of HFSJ.

Regards,

Connie

Books:

1. Head First Servlet & JSP
2. Core J2EE Patterns: Best Practices and Design Strategies, Second Edition
(Hardcover) by Deepak Alur, Dan Malks, John Crupi
Read relevant design patterns from this book for two hours the day before the exam. I have the impression that some answers come from that text.

Bryan's tutorial on dynamic attributes is a must-read before exam
