Cleared SCJP5 yesterday. Thanks a lot for K&B5 book. Also thank you people and this great site.
I did well in the first one and a half hour. Then I felt a little thirsty, but drink wasn't permit during test. It gave me a little trouble in understanding the rest questions. My score is too low, only 63%. Anyway I passed it.
Here's my preparation. I got the K&B5 book in later March. I read it twice, tested snippets and did self test at the fist time, and made notes at the second time. Then I did mock exams and read online material for 10 days. I did full-time preparing.
Is it a real policy of Prometric like no drink and white paper during exam? Thanks for advance.
Now move to SCWCD.
SCJP 5, SCWCD 1.4, SCBCD 1.3

Hi Jegon: I read a Java book from beginning to intermediate two years ago, and it gave me Java concepts.
For the preparation, I spent about 37 days. 28 days for reading. Three days went through chapter 1 of an ebook "Think in Java 3rd Edition". After receiving the K&B5 book, I spent 16 days reading it for the first time. I practised every single code and did all the self test. Then another 9 days reviewing the book, made index cards for Two-minute-Drill and took notes for what I thought very important or not so clear. Also did the self test again. I am doing part-time job, so most of these days, I studied full-time, most about 6-8 hours per day, even more sometime. 9 days for mock exams and notes. Took notes for the trick questions.
Quick through self test, index cards and own notes before exam.
