Why not become the things easier ? Why not make such files available as .jpg format for instance ?
Easier for whom? EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) files are readable by a great many programs. The thing about EPS files is that they are not a graphical image of your logo, but a programatical description of how to create your logo. Which may not mean much to a person just using Microsoft Word to print to their local ink-jet printer, but what it means to a professional printer (or anyone who works with documents professionally) is that this logo will scale perfectly up and down. No pixilation at large scaling, no aliasing at low scales.
Well, I googled through the web but I was unable to find any way to open such file formats and finally attach them to my resume.
Open Office and Microsoft Office both allow you to insert EPS files as graphics within a document. If you dont see the option to choose EPS files as a graphical format, re-insert your original installation CDs and select the additional graphic formats. There are many, many more programs that understand EPS as well.

Hi Andrew,
It's always good to hear opinions from experts.
I followed your suggestion concerning the MS Office instalation CD and chose such additional graphic formats.
Thanks a lot for your so detailed information.

Hi Edisandro,
Could you please let me know how to place the request for Sun Logo? I have given my exam on 10 July and yet to receive my Certification kit. Will I be able to place a request only after receiving the kit?
Thanks in anticipation.

"Will I be able to place a request only after receiving the kit?" Yes, and have returned the signed agreement that comes with it. [ July 25, 2006: Message edited by: Barry Gaunt ]
