Disappointed after clearing SCJP 1.5

Hi
On 26th i cleared SCJP 1.5 but i was much disappointed after getting by score(72%).On Exam everything was going well untill D&D questions arrived.
D&D questions are not tough to solve but they take time to understand.
I was knowing that there is only one pattern of D&D questions i.e filling the missing slots.But in exam there are many different solving patterns of D&D questions.
Well K&B book is enough to pass SCJP 1.5. and SCJP 1.4 is definitely easy then 1.5 if D&D questions are not present in SCJP 1.4.
So i think now that i should go for SCJP 1.4.
To make the problem worst if you revisit your questions then previous answers will be erased for all D&D question.
My request to K&B is that please add D&D questions to mock exam it would be really helpfull.
What i have learned while preparing for SCJP is that there are two key points
1. Understanding concept
2. Remembering Syntax.
I found many questions on Generic and almost all topics was touched in exam.
Please dont keep any section optional.Write Code as much as possible.
Writing code dont not only help you in understanding but it also help you in remembering the syntax.
I am active member of javarunch and i always try to answer questions in forum.Read others questions that are posted in forum.By answering others question you will be able to understand what others thing and it will help in your understanding also.
Try to solve as many mock exams as possible.
Hardness of K&B mock exam questions are close to real exam questions only
what i miss in K&B questions is D&D questions.
At last best of luck to all those who are going to appear for JCSP and please score well.

you got score of 72% that is decent enough.
I am a beginner and have just started preparation for scjp5 , you know better than me but i would suggest
the beginners to go for scjp5 only because as you know in october , java1.6 is going to be released and after a few months there willl be scjp1.6 available so i don't think that its a wiser option to go for scjp1.4

Congratulations on getting your "disappointing" result, many would be happy to get that result. Look forward and keep going, you can always upgrade to SCJP 6.x when it comes and get a perfect score

Congrats gowher. As you might be aware no one will ask you your SCJP percentage unless you wish to place that in your resume.

The only point now is you are an SCJP. Thats all what the world needs so Congrats on becoming SCJP
