Hello Friends, I cleared SCJP 1.4 yesterday with 88% score. I am delighted with the score, but I could have got around 92%, if I would have done some practice with thread and assert programs.
Kathy Serra book is very good. But to answer some question with confidence you need to practise writing programs. This makes things easy to remember also. Also try out weird things while coding. Because in my case, there were some weird type of program, and i guess i was not able to answer them correctly. i just gave one mock exam and i gave it 1 hr before the real exam.
Also there are some theory questions which are confusing if you have not read the book properly or have concentrated too much on the program writing.
All the best to all the SCJP aspirant. Scoring more then 80% won't be a difficult task if you study the book atleast for a month and do programming to actually see the result.
for getting 90% + you need some programming + some luck.
