I passed the SCJA today.

The most benefitial information came from:
1) Head First Java 2nd Edition
2) UML Distilled 3rd Edition
3) J2EE 1.4 Tutorial, Java 2 Platform
4) Java In A Nutshell, 5th Edition

We have a special forum for certification results. I'll move this topic there.

So, what did you think of it? Was it hard? Easy? If hard, was it harder than you thought? Thanks.

Congrats Robert!

We're happy to hear that HFJ helped you out, but I just want to clarify for others that this book wasn't designed to be an SCJA book We hope that it's a good book for learning basic Java, but it doesn't have any mock questions or anything that directly discusses the SCJA exam or its objectives.
