Hi!

Finally... It took some preparation, but now it's done! The questions on the exam was definitely easier than the questions in the K&B book (excellent book, btw., even if I had some problems to grasp the widening rules... a long widened into a float kind of lost me for a while )

At first I thought that it should be very tight to get all questions answered within stipulated time, but it turned out that I had more than 30 minutes in the end to go through my answers a second time. What I really didn't like with that was that if I wanted to go back and check one of the code exercises, I had to redo the whole exercise! Which in the end meant that I just trusted myself that I had got those right and only checked the "normal" questions...

Thank you, Javaranch, for being here and answer those tricky questions that pops up! I had to get a grip on the widening issue mentioned above and the answer came less than an hour after my posting - impressive!

All the best,
Anders

Well done Anders!

We hope you'll stick around the ranch and help answer some of those tricky widening questions, now that you're a certified guru!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
