I just passed SCJP 5.0 with 97%. I am so excited. I missed two questions, one for API and the other one for Concurrency(multi-thread).

Best wishes to all testers of SCJP.

Next target, SCBCD(EJB 3.0). Anyone is on the way?

Thank you guys. The other parts I got 100%.

My recommendation.
1.Read the book carefully,2-3 times, and make sure understand the self-test questions.
2. Use whizlab's mock exams as reference. The really exam is much easier than whizlab's.
3. Just relax, and take your time.

I finished the exam one hour earlier and using half an hour for review, and then I ended the exam in half an hour earlier.

Congrats Sam !!! Thats great score.

Can you share any info on objective wise questions? Or chapter wise questions?

Are questions on Dan Chisholm's site enough for that?

Any help will be great.

Thank you for your guys wishes.

I didnot use too much prepared resource. The book from K&B is great, and its self-test questions are so good that you need to understand it thoroughly.

Using whizlab's mock questions to prepare. It is much harder than the real exam.

The JavaRanch forum is the best forum I ever found for preparing Sun Certification.

Best wishes to all ranchers.

I'm preparing too for the SCBCD 5 with the O'Reilly book and the Mikalai Zaikin Study-Guide (this one is incomplete but very helpful since it is the ONLY study guide for this examn until now)

- Enterprise JavaBeans, 3.0, Publisher: O'Reilly, Pub Date: May 16, 2006.
- Mikalai Zaikin SCBCD 5.0 Study-Guide (http://java.boot.by/scbcd5-guide/)

This thread is also really helpful:

Congrats on your SCJP score.
