Hi Ranchers ,

I have the fundamental knowledge of Java and i am planning to take up SCJP5 exam in october 07 . So Can anyone suggest me that is it possible to pass the exam with a good percetage if i will start preparation now ? Waht will be better way for preparation ? Please suggest me some books also apart from K & B which may help me .

If you study and do a lot of mock exams then definitely you can pass with good percentage.Try to write small programs while reading.

Do a lot of mock exams after finishing the objectives of the certification.go through the SCJP FAQ of javaranch for more information about this examination.

You might want to refer to Khalid Mougal apart from K&B book.
