I am very excited to tell that I cleared SCWCD exam with 97%.
It took me 3 months to prepare.
I used HFSJ which is a wonderful book.This book is sufficient to clear the exam.Thanks to Bates,Sierra and Basham.The way you are explaining a concept is really amazing.
I went through the Servlet and JSP specification ,APIs,Marc's design Pattern notes(Thanks Marc.I scored 100% in design pattern)
And I wrote lots and lots of code .
I think ,to get a very good score,reading the specs,API is required.
Regarding mock exam,I used mocks from Marcus Green's site,JavaBeat,j2eecertificate,HFSJ chapter wise tests,Enthuware.
Finally,I scored 81% in HFSJ final mock test which gave me confidence to attempt the exam..
This is 3 months of hardwork and I am here with 97%.
I guess this is a good start to start my job search.

    I am a frehser just completed my mca .... just to know how your job search has been going & what kind of profiles & packages you are being offered .. so that i get some pointers about the kind of offers that one can expect after completing the certication !!

    I know alot denpends upon the invidual but just looking for some hints !!

    I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
