I cleared SCJP with 80% (58/72). Although not a greatest of scores, but I am extremely happy. I prepared for exactly one month before appearing for the test.
I am extremely thankful to Java ranchers for their kind support. Also, Kathy and Bert for writing excellent book. I would also thank ucertify for their simulator. I had six months of experience in Java development, but that is totally a different thing than going for certification.
I was quite sure of passing the test. But you all made me improve my score.

i was watching your post in SCJP forum, but you are in the confution state to take the exam.

In the mock exams you did 60-70%.It is easy passing score.

Finally you did it...

Congradulations more for your success.

Give me some sugessions about your actual exam which are the area you feel harder.

All the best for next level in java.

Thank you Shankar.
The area that I feel harder was Generics/Collection and concurrency. I scored less than 70% in these areas. Questions are not really difficult. I will suggest that practice as much mocks as you can. I read K & B book. Then went for free mocks available on net, and finally bought a simulator. Although I was not very confident, the mocks and practice tests gave me enough confidence to appear for the exam. I had to complete SCJP within a month(due to some personal reasons).

Ok Sheelpa.

I am going to give the exam on next month end. currently i am reading K&B book. it it very interesting.

Actually i have taken one mock exam with out reading the whole book.
That is the bad experience for me. i am planning to take mock exam after completing the whole book.

I will try to take more mock exam before going to the actual exam.

Thanks for your information.
