Folks, i cleared SCJP 5 with 93%. All Thanks to SCJP books by Kathy Sierra/ Bert Bates and Paul Sanghera. Especially Kathy's book was a terrific read and it made the exam journey exciting with a good insight into the java language. Paul's book was also good to start with but i have to admit it missed some essential topics. Thank you all. I am now on my way to take up SCDJWS. But unfortunately there is no one book to study.

I think anyone who can get above 90% must be programming gurus! Congrats! Read about web services, I think the current exam is outdated, so you might want to wait 1 year before you take the new one. They are going to come up with new exam soon.
