Today I appeared for SCJP5 exam and passed with not-so-great score of 79%.
I am been an career coldfusion programmer but had previous experience with Java2 days.
Here's my journey to certification:
1. studied for last 3 months. mainly on weekends and someweek days.
2. Read K&B book 3 times.
3. Gave 4 mock exams from Whizlab (avg score around 74%).
4. wrote concept testing small programs in eclipse. This is quite helpful especially for people who does not have On-Job Java experience.
