I passed SCJP 6 exam few hours before and i secured 88%. I would like to sincerely thank the members of this "very active" forum for sharing their exam experience and their suggestions on preparation materials. Thanks again..

For future SCJPs :

I read from K&B book and i used no other book. I prepared with SCJP 5 guide and for the new topics i referred to the following links,
Console
NavigableSet
NavigableMap
as suggested by Milton Ochoa.

SCJP aspirants might be taking lots of mock exams(you should be!!) and one thing we(atleast me) don't do is to review the answers before ending the mock exam. Please don't do the same thing during the exam. Please don't feel lazy at the exam center. I was bit slow, yet i managed to complete the exam in 2 hours and 10 minutes, you may probably having more time than this for your review, so use the time effectively. Don't presume that, what you have answered already is right, have a new look at the question. And if you get a different answer while review, don't change the answer right away, think why the previous answers is wrong. Confusing isn't it!!! all i want to say is that don't feel lethargic, be alert.

Congrat vijay,

Ok rechecking the answers is a good thing. But should we recheck all of them, because I heard that when we return on the drag-and-drop question, our first response is simply erased . so what should we do then for the drag-and-drop questions ???

You are right Mamadou. But you need not worry about that, because the drag and drop questions doesn't appear on the same window as is the case with simulators. There will just be button with the label "____ task" (i don't exactly remember). when you click that, a new window opens (a smaller one though) where you can answer the question. This is the case for the first time. When you are reviewing the answers and when you click the button, it says that the question has been already answered and whether you wish to answer it again and also cautions that the previous answer will be lost. Now you can either choose "yes" or "no". I think prometic or sun or whoever it is has taken all the care that the previous answers are not lost. So, this issue should not bother you anymore.
