Hi Ranchers,

After 1~2 months of studying hard, 3~4 hours weekdays and 8~12hours weekends i decided to have the exam, and, today I did the SCJP6 and had a score of 98%

I have to thank all of you for this, because, for sure, i wouldn't go so far without your help.

I've read the book of Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates once, and did a loooooot of mocks!!

Once again, thanks everyone!!
Now i'll be slowwwwlllyyy going to SCWCD since my College is starting again, but, in december i'll start to study hard again, but now, to SCWCD.

Ow, by the way, when i got the result my 1st feeling was to be angry because missed the 100% by 1 question!! But then i realized what i got and went happy, reallyyy Happy!

Kind Regards,
Raphael Rabadan

For sure, Nabila.

To say the truth i tried to buy the SCJP 6 book, paied even more to get it in a week, but well, it arrived yesterday, after my test, 1 month after I asked for it.

Anyway, the 1st thing I did was to read all the API, you can understand it easy, doesnt have many things. I can even put here the code of some examples i did. So, after doing the study myself, i looked for more things here but didnt find anything, so i googled it. To say the truth, i didnt find a lot of usefull things, only for Console... NavigableMap and NavigableSet i saw only a few examples on javabeat. I'll see if I have the sites for the Console, if not, I did print a PDF of the pages and I also have some examples of code that I can give.

And on the test, I got only one question from SCJP, and as i heard, it goes from 1~3 questions and looks easy, at least i found it.

Oh.. other thing, I bought whizlabs 6, there had some examples too, was good to get confident :-)

If you really want the codes I can make a file and put on rapidshare, the pdfs, codes and all the things i have for NavigableMap, NavigableSet and Console, and put it on the SCJP forum. But has only a problem, its not well organized, but i think i can do it on the lunch break on my work. It's ok to you?

I seem to be having trouble downloading the file ...I keep getting strange errors when trying to download the same . I'm not sure if its just me.

Many Thanks.

Ohhh, more then a year has passed and my topic is still around. Again, thanks everyone who gave congrats to me.

The nice thing is to know that my files are still helping people out...

Abhay Agarwal, I don't remember how many question of threads, sorry.

Drunken Developer, It's easy. i'll put in an order...
1. Read all the book of Sierra until you do anything else.
2. Start to answer and understand all the question of the SCJP Forum here in the Javaranch.
3. Do mocks, a lot of them, all the master exams, inquisition, whizlabs and keep it going until you feel you are good.
