Hi there
I cleared SCDJWS last week and many thanks to all of you for your past experience, guidance and share knowledge
It's time to share my view to pass SCDJWS
Background: Working as Java/
J2EE Programmer and does some
Java Web Services in DFW, Texas
Experience: I'd rate my knowledge prior to exam preparation was 5/ 10 in JWS and SCDJWS was really an eye opener and improved knowledge in realtime coding
Preparation: Studied about an hour a day during working hours for about 3 months
Guide: Started with Watsh_Rajneesh_scdjws1_4.pdf to understand the basics followed by wsd-guide-0.8-Letter.pdf and wsd-quiz-0.2-Letter.pdf. Then I learn Sun Blue Prints for Java Web Services. I search the SCDJWS topics in Google to get crisp information as SCDJWS is so much to study and approach should be on broader sense than in depth of knowledge like code syntax
Day before Exam: I glanced the Blue Prints and relaxed and had a long sleep
Exam: Most of the questions are straight forward, for example
Which two encoding styles are legal according to the WS-I Basic Profile 1.0a?
A rpc-literal
B rpc-encoded
C document-literal
D document-encoded
I'd enough time to complete the exam, so there is no need to be panic about time
Thanks: Again many thanks to all of you and I would not have done it without this forum
Please feel free to reach me for help
Regards
