Hello EveryBody !! i have recently cleared SCJP 5.0 with 88% marks.I have realised that this exam requires not only your knowledge of Java concepts but a lot of programming effort too.You should also know the "WHY" and "HOW" of everything besides knowing "WHAT" of every concept.
But one thing i am disappointed with is that even after getting this Certificate , the job of java programmer is far away .I want to ask you all ,that what should i do after this to get the right place i aspire for before taking this exam. Can anybody help me out....??

Congratulations on passing the exam.

SourceForge has a lot of open source projects (not only in Java), and also Java-Source.net. You can find more with Google.

I think you are from India, so I would recommend you that go for MCA (if you have not done that yet).
