Hello!

This friday I passed the SCWCD exam with 86%. I prepared with the following:

1) Read HFSJ first edition once, did all the questions.
2) Studied Peabody:s notes on design patterns. Very good!
3) Read Mikalai Zaikin study notes once.
4) Read up on dynamic attributes (which is not covered in HFSJ). Basically studied the topic in this forum.
5) Took JDiscuss mock exams.
6) Took Enhtuware Mock exam. Did four tests, got 70-80% on them.

I prepared for this during two weeks, about 4-6 hours per work day. I also studied for this exam about a year ago, but then I never took the exam as the workload in my job increased and it was not possible to do both. So I must say I'm really happy to "finally" have taken the certification :-)

Thanks to javaranch and all the people contributing to the forum. I hope you realize how good this forum is!
