This is a very broad subject that can't really be answered in one thread. Your best bet is to pick up a certification book like RHE and read the chapter on threads. Then search these forums for questions. Also check out the thread forum for more info. Then post specific questions about thread on things you don't understand. I am also moving this to the certifcation study forum. Bill
