I heard on that Marcus helped develop Sun's Java SCJP. I think it must have been a misunderstanding. If it's true, it would be disconcerting for us if he failed on his first try :0

Hi Percy:
Why? If it is true, I think that would be great. No wonder his mock exams are mostly reflecting the real thing. And it's very helpful as most people agree and benefit from.

That's true. Not many brave souls responding to this one, perhaps Marcus would post a defense

MMmm I love that rumor but unfortunatly it's not true. My mocks are based only on very close reading of the objectives and feedback from people taking the real thing. In the event of me being aware of the exact phrasing of a "real" question I would not reproduce it in my mocks. I only use feedback to influence the style of questions not the exact wording/ordering/naming.
My material is under constant revision and slight tweaking and I try to read all comments and feedback on the exam. Although my mocks get downloded tens of thousands of times a month I still get valuable insights from people browsing the material.
To give an example I recently got an email from someone with reference to a question that covers inner/nested classes and I will probably ammend that question shortly to reflect this feedback.
Love that rumor though, perhaps I'll start to spread it myself...

I heard a rumor that Microsoft was planning to come out with a version of Marcus with Windows extensions (MSMarcus) but that the current Copyright holder has threatened to sue.
