Hi, does anybode here use Whizlabs simulator and know why they use the OBJECT(p1.lastName) in their answer? I say they it should be SELECT p1.lastName FROM Person 1, Person p2 WHERE p1.phone = p2.phone AND p1.address = p2.address

You're perfectly right Johan, as per the EJB Specfication 2.0 section 11.2.8 the OBJECT operator should not be used to qualify path expressions. I will instruct Whizlabs to change that  Thanks for your feedback.
