first , read <mastering EJB 2nd Edtion> book.
then, take a good look at bea's edocs website, especially admin, cluster, jms.
take one mock exam is enough.there is no one same question on some of mock exams.

Baba,
My colleagues and I are currently co-authoring a book on WLS 7 which will include a section on certification and an exam (Sam's Publishing Unleashed Series, should be out this Fall).
I'm will have the Gamma site updated to include WLS 7 certification next month:

It's very lucky that I can clear the WebLogic (6.x) exam today with 91%. The questions are easier than what I thougt.
I would like to thank JavaRanch to offer the discussion forum and provide a lot of useful info. Without it, the preparation will be much harder & longer.
Just read the edocs from BEA site and one more book - "Mastering Enterprise JavaBeans" will be sufficient.
Next goal will be to tackle the XML.

For those who would like help with the WebLogic Developer certification, Whizlabs has the 7.0 test simulator (with a money back guarantee). You can check it out at:
http://www.whizlabs.com/weblogic/weblogic.html
I happen to be the author of the content.

BEA has a study guide for 8.1 (like it has for 7.0). That would be a good resource in addition to your own experience on Weblogic 8.1.
The new exam for 8.1 is different in content from the 7.0. It puts a lot of emphasis on Weblogic Workshop. For few more pointers on differences between the 7.0 and 8.1 exam content, check out this link at the whizlabs certification forum:
http://www.whizlabs.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Weblogic&Number=519&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

Dilip
