Hi I was between giving 157 test but getting no response. Has anybody got same problem?

I am giving the 157 test a try but the site always hangs. Anyone experiencing the same? I was about half-way done when it hanged. Also, I have to wait 2-3 minutes to be able to go to the next question.

I just finished XML pree assesment...and pass...hope I'll get a free voucher

guys who got the free voucher, did you get a confirmation with the ICE results that "You will get the free voucher"? I got one when I did the DB2 free voucher test but not for 157 today. regards kapil

My experience with IBM and their free voucher programs is that they don't print some kind of 'congratulations' message at the time. You just need to be patient and they'll email it to you in due time.

Hey there, I just passed 486(UML) preassesment test with 78%, but there is no confirmation of voucher. Do they give it through email ?
I dropped them an email yesterday (as I've taken and passed several exams since last Wednesday) to ask. I haven't heard back yet - I suspect it's just backed up.

Theodore, i got the email from my company that ibm issued 1000 more free vouchers for websphere and xml. thus, total free vouchers are not 1000 but 2000.
Just heard back from IBM - they are a bit behind on sending out vouchers, but are expecting them to all be out before 13 December 2002. Eh.

I appeared for the pre-assessment test on 20th of November and passed it, I still have not heard from them about Free voucher. Do you think still there are any chances of getting it? or Whom should I write to inquire about status? Thanks, Chintan.

Chinton, I too passed the sample test on 20th at 8PM and I inquired about the free voucher with IBM and they replied saying that the first 1000 vouchers were out by 10AM on the 20th and said that I will be getting my voucher before the 13th of december as they increased the vouchers by 1000.So you too should be getting the voucher by the 13th.
I also passed WebShepre Application Server and J2EE Connector exams but did not get those vouchers. This is probably because I already got XML and UML vouchers...

My vouchers are still filtering in from around the 20th, so be patient. They did say they'd send them all out before EOB tomorrow.

hi.. i got a voucher for ibm 483 yesterday on dec 12..cool..i have to start preparing for it now.. can any of u guys lead me to a single post where i can get all the info abt the exam( not the objectives, pass %age and all that stuff)but the books i have to read.. thanks in advance

Hi, Don: I think all 2000 free vouchers are gone by Dec. 13th. BTW, your cert record is very impressive, 10 certs! I am wondering if they helped you landed a job. If you tell me no, then I will stop taking certs, its endless. Thanks.

Hi Holmes: I think my certs helped. So I think certs help in general. But that is just my opinion. Thanks for the information!

Hi, Don: Last time they promised to give out 1000 vouchers first, then they added another 1000. I would suggest you to send a message to them ask about if they still have it. Its possible they will add another batch if more people ask for it ). Your message encouraged me a bit anyway. Thanks.
