I have cleared the weblogic 7.0 certification today. Thanks to java ranchers and java ranch site. Some questions were pretty confusing. one question was drag and drop type. Not a very tough exam. pdf Documentation and getgamma site is helpful.
Some of the main topics to be covered for this exam are :
1. ejb/ ejb clients
2. clustering..
3. Transaction - i got more than 5 questions....
4. servlet/jsp/taglib / listeners/ http sessions
5. deployment descriptors... web.xml/ securtity roles etc..
6. weblogic admin console/ admin command line utitlities
7. ejbc/ejbgen
8. mdb/ jms/jndi
9. web services/ connection pools

Congrats man!! Can you throw some light on the distribution of the questions on various test objectives? Especially, the first objective: "Basic WebLogic Server Concepts".
Regards
George

There may be 4 - 5 questions on basic concepts, like
weblogic.Admin command line utilities,
parameters you pass for Admin commands,
the ways to create managed server
ways to start a managed server
domain concepts, admin console utilities,
what are the things you can create through console utility,
what are the things you can create through commands,
ways to view the log file
relationship between managed server and admin server etc.
I don't remember exactly the no. of questions in each section. It is same as the following link posted by
Ceppad Reso

Raj

Thanks for the reply, Raj.
Is this the total exam fee one needs to pay or you got some kind of discount on this exam. I am asking this because it seems to cheaper than compared to the other related java certifications(sun, ibm) available in the industry.
Thanks
