Hi Guys:
Today (ie., 7/17/2003) I passed IBM 486 with 77%. I am doubtful whether I would pass or fail until I saw the 'Congratulations' screen. It took me exactly 24 days for preparation. I had no prior knowledge about UML and the Iterative process. It would be much easier if you had little experience as an Object Designer. But if you don't then better prepare thoroughly for the exam.
My Preparation Materials:
1. IBM ICE Test
2. Larman's Applying UML and Patterns (revised three times). First revision: 14 days, Second revision: 4 days and, Third revision: 1 day.
3. Whizlabs OOAD simulator. Extremely helpful if you take the tests many times.
My Advice:
Take the final test if you score above 40 on IBM ICE and above 45 on Whizlabs.
Thank you.
Best of luck for the aspirants.
