I would like to write the CISSP exam and become a CISSP professional but to do so requires an endorsement from your employer or another CISSP. I am 99.9% sure I have the experience required however I am not 100% I am would like to be 100% how can I find this out? What happens if you don't know a CISSP and you run your own consulting company ? That means you are your own employer and you can't really certify yourself. I would expect anybody else to be somewhat uneasy about endorsing a candiate and hence a catch 22. I suppose you could get the client to endorse you but then I do not like to ask favours from clients..
