WL 7.0 / WL 8.1

Hi
Which weblogic certification is being offered by BEA currently. Is it 7.0 or 8.1 or both?

BEA 8.1 Developer(Build solutions and Integration solutions) and Architect are available as off now.The other exams like BEA 8.1 Developer(Portal solutions) and BEA 8.1 Administrator aren't available at the moment.
Regarding the previous versions,BEA certification FAQ says

BEA WebLogic Server 6.1 and 7.0 Developer exams will remain available at all Prometric testing centers through January 2005. Exam prep resources for the WebLogic Server 7 Enterprise are available. Individuals who take these exams will receive a BEA Certified Developer Certification.

It appears that Whizlabs exam simulator is based on Weblogic 7.0. Any idea whether they are trying to upgrade it to the latest version Weblogic 8.1.
If Weblogic 7.0 is going to be around only until Jan 2005 it is better to be certified on WL 8.1 rather then 7.0.

BEA Administrator exam is available for 8.1 @ Prometric test centers. Architect is not available at the moment.
Anyway, I'm planning for BEA-Administrator. Any thoughts/suggestion?
Seems to me that Whizlab gives guidance for Developer?
Do any of you guys have any idea about Administrator?

My company sent me to the 8.1 administration training from BEA Educational services, I plan to study and take the administration certification in the near future, but I have no experience with Weblogic b4.

You would be happy to know that we are soon coming up with Weblogic 8.1 and we are currently offering free upgrade program ,so if you buy the Whizlabs 7.0, you would also get an option of upgrade for 8.1 for free.

I'm planning to take weblogic 8.1 administration certification. Is there any documents available on the exam perspective other than the weblogic product documentation. any help would be really appreciated.

I am planning to take wl administration 8.1 and i happen to see simulators for 7.0. Do you have any simulators for Weblogic Server 8.1.

Please do let me know and i am ready to buy that and also if 7.0 would help attend the 8.1 Examination i prefer getting that. Please suggest me.\

I am also planning to take Wl administration 8.1 and i was sent for training from my company to bea Education services on WL 8.1 administration.

Now i have the course material and additionally you have go through the stuff in the bea website. (Thats what i heard from billy who have already cleared the examination)

If you any other suggestion or guidance. Do let me know.

What about anand? Have you completed the exam or how is your prepration going on.
