I use both the links supplied by Ken & Axel, and there's a lot of material. I also have both Larman and Fowler books (both excellent). Don't forget to use Cuellar's notes. I'm taking 486 on Monday. I'll keep you posted. Ray scjp, scwcd, scbcd, scea (part 1), ibm 486

v giri: Maybe Ramon is giving pressure himself that he must pass the test in the coming monday. Anyway, good luck to you, Ramon. Nicholas: So far, I only know that there is new certification for Web Services, and I think you have already applied for it. By the way, I wonder how you could manage to handle so many exams in the same time, you got 48 hours per day? for me, one exam at a time is maximum ...

Ken I agree with you. IBM distributed vouchers in December expiring on 3/31. In between we had SCWCD and SCMAD from Sun. Then we have voucher for IBM web services expiring on 4/30. Now Sun web services beta announced for april. We know lots of ranchers are studying round the clock for several of these exams. I envy them. We all have a lot to learn from fellow javaranchers how to handle so many things with family and work pressures. I must admit that I motivate myself from many such folks. With so many exams in everyone's mind all the time, typos are quite natural. Let us keep the spirit high and keep going. Best of luck to everyone and best wishes [ February 27, 2004: Message edited by: v giri ]

Hi Ken, As Girl said, the IBM vouchers for WSAD are going to expiry on 3/31/2004, while there were SCWCD 1.4 beta and SCMAD 1.0 beta in between, and thus, my schedule is in fact very tight. But luckily that some of the exams are overlapped each others, like IBM 287, 484, SCWCD and SCBCD. I got my SCWCD 1.3 last year and had 1 year WSAD experiences, and thus, it make me less hard to revise. My tenative schedule is as follows: SCMAD: Mar 7, 2004 IBM 486: Mar 14, 2004 IBM 287: Mar 21, 2004 SCBCD: Not planned Since I used HF EJB for IBM 287 and 484 as well, and thus, in fact, I am also studying for SCBCD and I got a voucher of 30% discount from SUN, so I just take account on it. Nick.
