Hi Vivek, Congrad. for passing, however, I am sorry to tell you that you wont get any certificates if you have not passed all 3 exams: 287, 484 and 486. Once you passed the above 3 exams, together with SCJP 1.x, you will receive the ICED certificate from IBM. Otherwise, you wont get any certificate. Nick
To moderator: I think it would be a good idea to have a FAQ on IBM certification with a link from here. Such questions like this one appear at least every week
Best Regards,<br />Serge

Thanks for the quick response, It is really bad that I wont be getting a certificate from IBM, I have given 484 and 486 but I dont know what 287 is about ??? I think that particular exam is particular to IBM Product. And moreover I am kinda board of given certifications I may have not given that many certifications as many as most of you have given, but overall I have given about 3 certifications in the last 1 months time. And I also gave 2 certifications in Nov03 and Dec03. I have a voucher for 141 and that expires on the 31st March 04, but I dont even feel like giving this one.

Hi Vivek,

IBM 287 is specifically for developing J2EE applications using WSAD 5.0.
I have a voucher for 141 and that expires on the 31st March 04, but I dont even feel like giving this one.
Try your best to fulfill the exams. I am also in rushing of IBM certifications, as well as SCJWSD beta exam. Nick

Hey guys, I'm checking in with the other moderators about building a FAQ. Never done one before for the forums I moderate, but like the suggestion. I'll let y'all know as soon as I find out myself
Thanks a lot man, I got it booked for the 23rd of April 2004, that is really good since I have enough time to prepare for it, Since I was feeling a bit sick giving all these certifications one after another. Comming to think of it now since I have a lot of time, the time taken to prepare for the exam is going to expand to fill up the extra time. Since I have posponed the exam beyond the 31st of March, I think I will actually prepare for the exam and give it, rahter than just strolling over to the test center just to pass my time. v2

You can get more info in Web Services forum. The voucher is not available now, I guess Evelyn will distribe it 2 weeks before the beta exam takes place. Nick
