Does anyone here have anything to say about the certifications offered by PMI? What is the coverage, how much value they have in the industry etc. Do you know of any other certifications which are better suitable for software industry?

Pl have a look @ http:\\www.pmi.org. It has got very good reputation in the IT Industry. You can visit Yahoo Groups pmi-Cert. Visit http://www.preparepm.com for good information. Hope this helps.
